Hi! I’m Renske.

I’m a designer based in Utrecht, Netherlands.

I studied Communication & Multimedia Design at the HAN in Arnhem and graduated with a B.A.Sc. This is where I found out that Illustration is something that stuck with me, because you get to tell a story.

In school I also did a Gaming Minor and found out that what I’m really interested in is creating a world and telling a story with the help of props and environments, but this can also be applied for Illustration and Animation.

So I’m currently learning 3D modelling with the focus on Environment and Prop design.

And I’m improving my skills in Motion design.

Curious designer

So you could say I’m curious designer, I want to explore and I’m eager to learn what I’m capable of when it comes to designing.

I mainly specialize in Illustration, Graphic Design and 3D design

and everything in between.

I’m proficient with various software like the Adobe Suite and the 3D program Blender.

But, I’m always open and eager to learn and expand my skills.

Little bit about me

Besides designing stuff I like to play videogames, I play on my PC & Nintendo Switch.

(Yes that is me at the Nintendo Museum in Kyoto)

I enjoy playing games where you get to explore the world that tells you a story and building games where you build something up from scratch.

I like watching movies and series as well. I enjoy genres such as adventure, fantasy, crime, documentaries and animation.

I also enjoy working out. Just workout for an hour while listening to some music to give my brain a pause. It helps when you have a creative block or don’t have inspiration.

I also enjoy eating. I like good food and having a few drinks with friends.
